Objective

In order to improve their existing processes, the client approached us with a wide range of requirements including but not limited to development, testing and maintenance. With various applications across different technologies, we knew we needed to provide them with solutions that were effective yet efficient.

The following were their requirements:

    Handling support, maintenance and enhancements for various applications across different technologies.

    Online birthday reservation as well as their internal applications. The Reservation System has 50K to 100K user visits per day.

    Support for their Workday application. The current Workday application had 500 test cases run per month.

    Online inventory, order management and multiple 3rd party integration including payment gateway.

    Modernization of existing applications and maintenance of legacy application.

    Most importantly, the client wanted to execute this project with minimal impact to the business operations.

Solutions

Ensuring minimum impact to their business operations, we were able to successfully provide the client with the following solutions.

We ensured end-to-end development for both client’s birthday reservation (NBF2.0), and various other applications, along with providing maintenance and support for various applications using GENA3 Framework.
We developed customized APIs and leveraged existing APIs wherever available for integrating various 3rd party tools to their applications, such as back-end Ecommerce integration (Payment gateway) and POS system (Aloha).
We provided support of the SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS platform), SQL Server reporting services (SSRS platform) and PowerBI application.
We ensured QA support for Workday (Finance / HRM system) tool, and further provided L2 and L3 support of the birthday booking site (aka reservation system) and non-reservation application.
Using Genisys University framework, we improved client’s knowledge base. Using industry leading open-source tools, we automated both functional and regression test cases for the reservation system.

The solutions we provided helped the client not only improve their previous processes, but also helped gain significant efficiency in running their day-to-day operations.
